Honey biscuits recipe: We found a recipe on the internet and used it, basically it came down to making standard baking powder biscuits with the addition of 1/4 c. sugar to the dough. Roll out dough, cut into biscuits and press an indentation into the top of each biscuit with your thumb. Whip together 3T. butter with 3T. honey, place some of the spread in each indentation, bake as usual. These weren't "Great", but they were okay. D-13 and M-11 really liked them.

Little Black Rain Cloud
I'm just a little black rain cloud,
Hovering under the honey tree.
I'm only a little black rain cloud,
Pay no attention to little me.
Yes, everyone knows that a rain cloud,
Never eats honey, no, not a nip.
I'm just floating around, over the ground,
Wondering where I will drip.
This is a test, if this comes up David said, it means when he began blogging he took my name so he is a little old southern Lady.
Fun! And that's a neat site, I'd never heard of it before. Is it sort of like Unit Safari (what ever happened to them?)
Where is the recipe for the "Honey Biscuits" I always look forward to your recipes...
How adorable!!!

Can I just say that you rock!! I love your blog. I am so incredibly inspired. I'd like to start notebooking with my dd who is about to be 6. We'll start small and test it out over the summer before we start our next curriculum. I need to go back in your blog and see what you do with the younger kids. Do you add your own math/LA or do you just rely on the unit studies for that? I probably just need to go back through your blog to find the answer. I truly love it. I'll be here for hours!
Blessings,
Shannon
